Tips To Save Money On Energy Bills

Hey there , thanks for visiting the “Magniwork Generator” website – my name is Joshua and I truly love Green Energy. For me its about feeling good – about using alternative energy and saving money doesnt hurt either.

I know that many people are in need of ways to save money on their energy bills -and thats a big reason why many of us begin looking for things like “Magniwork Generator Plans” or the Solar and Wind Plans. So I figured I would list some easy ways for us to cut down on the energy we use – and save money too.

All these are simple -yet effective ways to keep your electricity bills low and keep the money in your pockets.

•Unplug at least one space heater. Many estimate that this alone could save the family $20 to $30 a month. An electric space heater is “a very costly device,” . Electricity is more expensive than natural gas in most parts of the country, so using a space heater to supplement the primary source of heat isn’t cost effective.

•Replace incandescent light bulbs with energy-efficient compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs. Lighting accounts for only 5% of the average family’s electricity bill, so this won’t result in big savings. Still, every little bit helps. CFL bulbs use two-thirds the energy of conventional light bulbs, he says. In addition, they last five to seven years, based on average daily use. Even though they cost more, they don’t have to be replaced as often as incandescent bulbs.

•Take shorter showers. Showers account for most of a household’s hot-water use. Baths are even worse. Cutting showers to 10 minutes from 30 minutes could slash water-heating costs by 50%.

•Install a programmable thermostat so you can automatically lower the temperature at night.

These are just a few -but they are the easiest ways to cut energy costs down. And if you stay consistent and do these things ALL YEAR -the savings will be very noticeable.
